Many fun Activities happening this week! Below is a description of each day and what I have been doing in for CAS and other activities :)
Monday June 3rd: No School
At 3pm there was a meeting about the new project the Ido (Instituto de Oceanografía) is doing. It's a really nice project, the goal is to have trial, which would be for free and be just like the ones that are in national parks all around Costa Rica. Also a unique aspect is that each trial will hopefully have a team that will design it and create a theme for it. I'm thinking in basing mine having a reflection trial, in a peaceful place and have quotes instead of information boards that will make people think and reflect about their life.
In the meeting we plan what we would do this week in order to have everything read for the event on Saturday. We discussed and planned for about 2 hours and Liam and I will work on the poster and I also had to create the how can you help sheet. I will post more about it next week and how it went.
Tuesday June 4h:
I went to the North Campus and planned a few aspects of the Talent Show with Miss Sara. I really like that we have an adult helping because a lot of the times this year we had to do many Student Sponsoring Students event just between the students. The good thing is that I feel like I don't have to do many things and there are also a lot of parents how are interested in helping. I'm really excited to work with Miss Sara, the parents and the students to have the talent show ready for the end of the month! 22 day until the talent show!
Wednesday June 5th:
I choreographed some of my dance with help of Miss Kerry and I will perform it at the Talent show :) Then I was at the gymnastics go away party :( I will miss Patti Jo but I'm looking forward to having classes with Leeah.
Thursday June 6th:
I will be getting things ready for the golf tournament in which the Student Government will be participating.
Friday June 7th:
Talent Show auditions @ north campus from 3pm-4pm!
Saturday June 8th: MANY FUN EVENTS! I love being busy and helping people out :)
Golf Tournament: 8am-2pm
Ido presentation in Potrero: 3pm
Dart of the Art (student Ambassador): 5pm
